A Few Questions & Answers
- How long are sessions?
Sessions are 50 minutes. Coach will check in at the beginning of each session in case other challenges arise since the last session. It can be difficult for clients to stay on task with goals when unexpected issues arise. If other issues have arose those issues will be assessed and the problem solving process will take place in an effort to refocus client’s attention.
- How often are sessions?
Session will be weekly for the first 3months. Once progress is evaluated Coach and client will discuss how to proceed. Some clients make enough progress to decrease sessions after 3months. Other clients keep weekly sessions and work at their pace to reach desired outcomes. Some clients may even be recommended for once a month check in for maintenance, then discharged.
- Is insurance accepted?
No. Cash, credit cards, debit cards, and cash app are accepted. Clients will receive an invoice after session and will have 30days to pay amount owed. Payments can be broken down into two payments within that thirty-day period. Payments can also be made weekly.

- Are sessions kept confidential?
Yes. What coaches and clients discuss is considered confidential. There are two exceptions; should the safety of client and/or other people become at risk disclosure of coach-client information can occur. It is also confidential that a coach is meeting with a client. Client can choose who they wish to allow coach to share specific information with. In this case a release release of information is required.
- What to expect during initial session?
Yes. What coaches and clients discuss is considered confidential. - What to expect during initial session?
You can expect to discuss the reason for coming in for coaching, any background information you are comfortable sharing, and exploration of client expectations. Clients will also work with coach on goal setting.
- What is your cancellation policy?
Please provide a 24-hr notice for cancellations. We understand emergencies happen and some situations are beyond your control. Clients in need of rescheduling an appointment need to notify coach 3 hours prior to scheduled appointment. Clients who do not provide 24-hr cancellation (where applicable) or 3 hrs notice the day of appointment will be responsible for no-show fee. No-show fee is full session fee and will have to be paid before next session.
After missing three consecutive appointments without notice you may be subject to being placed on hold until an open slot is available; be discharged; or discuss other options within reason.
Appointments are booked for one client/family at a time. The best quality of care is highly valued for all clients and potential clients. 24-hr notice would allow scheduling of another client/family in cancelled time slot.
